Anadolu Isuzu hosted the European premier of the new generation Isuzu Novociti Life at its stand in Busworld, one of the world’s leading bus and coach exhibitions, and also promoted Isuzu Visigo, fitted with new active and passive safety measures. In his speech at the exhibition, Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan said that Novociti Life with its low floor, making it easier for elderly passengers to travel, and Visigo, fitted with high technology safety equipment, will become new solution partners for European municipalities.
Tuğrul Arıkan continued: “As you may know, for 33 years we have been manufacturing our bus models, which are traveling on the roads of several countries, in our plant in Turkey. We currently operate in over 30 countries on three continents across the world. We are proud of being recognized with international awards… In addition to our continued success in midibus exports, we also see that that our bigger buses are highly welcomed in many countries. We travel the world by bus.
We exported Citiport, Visigo, Citibus, Turquoise and Novo Series models to more than 30 countries, and achieved an export volume close to €60 million. Our success in 2016 continues this year too. In 2017, we have increased our total export turnover around 20%. Our goal is to reach nearly 60 countries in the next three years, by 2020… And to double our annual export volume, exceeding €100 million…

Isuzu Novociti Life, with its low floor, offers easier transportation for people with disabilities and the elderly
With Turkish launch scheduled for early 2018, new generation Novociti Life will add a brand new dimension to urban transportation. In today’s world where the needs of the urban transportation sector and their expectations from midibuses continue to diversify, new generation Novociti Life will reflect this change. Designed as a midibus with a low floor, Novociti Life will support people with disabilities and the elderly population who are integrating into social life more and more every day by offering easier access to mass transportation vehicles and helping them to adapt to city life. To allow for a lower floor, the engine was relocated to the rear in the new generation Novociti Life. This change will also contribute to better noise insulation and a more comfortable journey. Novociti Life, with its renewed infrastructure platform, has become a true small bus, developed by taking into consideration Europe’s changing urban transportation requirements and demands, and is set to become a new solution partner for European municipalities with its lower investment and operational costs.
Isuzu Visigo’s high technology Safety Pack protects the driver and the passengers
Isuzu Visigo, exhibited at the Anadolu Isuzu stand in Busworld 2017, is an ambitious vehicle in the 9.5-meter coach segment. With the “Safety Pack” feature presented on Visigo, Anadolu Isuzu emphasizes how much people’s life and safety is valued. Isuzu Visigo will come fitted with several safety and early intervention features, including Mobileye Shield Plus™, one of the most advanced collision avoidance systems available on the market today. A new engine option to be introduced in the Visigo model before the second half of 2018 will increase the vehicle’s power from 244 hp to 320 hp, offering excellent performance.
