For the very first time, the Goodyear FIA European Truck Championship (ETRC) will have an electric pace truck. The 2025 season of the ETRC is about to start in Misano (Italy), with the first four races scheduled on May 17 and 18. The pace truck is the vehicle needed to support the race truck before the rolling start.
This year, the ePace Truck will be the IVECO S-eWay, that is to say the electric version of an IVECO road tractor. The electric vehicle will join the IVECO S-Way LNG truck, which has served as pace truck for the past two seasons, as part of a dual-energy approach on the grid.
