In the atrium: the Kögel Euro Trailer Mega Rail – the original
Kögel will be presenting the high-volume semi-trailer, which has been extended by 1.3 metres, in the form of its Euro Trailer Mega Rail with RoRo equipment. This mega semi-trailer has a loading capacity of around 111 m³ and provides space for a total of 37 Euro pallets. It therefore has space for four more pallets than a standard Mega semi-trailer. This offers ecological and economical benefits: up to ten percent fuel savings, up to ten percent lower CO2 emissions, multimodality and public acceptance. Based on the latest legal requirements in Germany, this extended Mega semi-trailer can also naturally be used in combined traffic.
Kögel Lightplus: an increase in payload
The Kögel Lightplus will be a highlight at the stand. The frame and body, specially optimised for payload and weight, will be exhibited accordingly. The new external frame profile enables the lashing of cargo to the VarioFix perforated steel external frame, even with the optional drop sides. In combination with a lifting roof, the corner posts in the new body are considerably smaller in both the front and rear. This saves on weight and also simplifies loading and unloading from the side.
Kögel trailer axle KTA: the standard for Kögel semi-trailers and quick availability of spare parts
The Kögel trailer axle KTA has been the standard for many models of the Kögel Cargo, Kögel Lightplus, Kögel Cool – PurFerro quality, and Kögel Box product ranges along with various chassis since the beginning of April. The Kögel KTA trailer axle features a sophisticated concept: Two U-bolts provide secure clamping of the trailing arm and axle. The axle tube is enclosed by the trailing arm at the top, and the axle spring seats at the bottom. To facilitate easy repair, the trailing arm and the axle tube can be replaced separately.
