Full Support from Karsan for the “Net Zero Emission Roadmap in Transportation” Project

Karsan, becoming a global brand in public transportation, demonstrated its support by participating in the launch event of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure’s “Net Zero Emission Roadmap in Transportation” Project. With its new generation models, Karsan has made significant progress on the journey towards net zero emissions and will continue to play a pioneering role in this field in Türkiye. At the launch event hosted by Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Karsan highlighted the importance of zero emissions in public transport by showcasing its 12-meter e-ATA.

As one of the world’s leading automotive countries, Türkiye is shaping a new roadmap in the field of transportation. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced the launch of the “Net Zero Emission Roadmap in Transportation” Project, implemented in cooperation with the European Union (EU). Aiming to reduce carbon emissions in the transportation sector, the project will help establish a green, digital, and sustainable infrastructure in Türkiye. In this context, Karsan, which plays a pioneering role in transforming global public transportation infrastructure with its electric and autonomous vehicles, participated in the launch event, demonstrating its support for the initiative. Represented by Muzaffer Arpacıoğlu, Deputy General Manager of Domestic Sales and Foreign Affairs, and Adem Metin, Domestic Sales Manager, Karsan’s presence at the event underscored its strong commitment to the net zero emissions journey.

A Significant Step Towards Net Zero Emissions

At the launch event of the “Net Zero Emission Roadmap in Transportation” Project, Karsan showcased its 12-meter e-ATA model as a representative example of zero-emission vehicles in public transport. Attracting considerable attention, Karsan e-ATA plays a key role in the company’s ongoing efforts to achieve net zero emissions. During the event, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu emphasized that a roadmap would be developed to reduce emissions to zero, and noted that the project was designed in alignment with Türkiye’s net zero emission goal. Minister Uraloğlu also stated that the project, implemented in financial cooperation with the European Union (EU), represents a comprehensive strategy that clearly defines the role the transport sector will play in ensuring sustainable mobility.
